Wanda One UK are committed to working directly with the local community and want to ensure that local people and businesses surrounding the project benefit wherever possible. As we move into the construction phase of the development we will work with Nine Elms on the South Bank and Wandsworth Council to provide a cultural programme linked to the construction site. Wanda One will continue to support local events and make a positive contribution to the area throughout the construction process.

Cycle Safety Awareness Day July 2015
Our contractors are committed to making a positive contribution to the local community. In October 2016 McGee once again joined in the national 'wear it pink' campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Friday 21st October 2016. McGee kicked the campaign off in fine style with a photo shoot to launch their new 32 tonne pink tipper truck which has taken to the streets of London over the last month to support the charity. On Breast Cancer Awareness Day the One Nine Elms site team helped to raise over £600 through raffles, bake sales and a range of activities on site. Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS)
The site has been registered with the national CCS scheme. As part of this initiative, we keep in regular contact with our neighbours, provide regular updates on progress, inspect the site hoardings regularly and keep the appearance of the site clean and tidy.
We are delighted to announce that our main contractor McGee been awarded Considerate Constructor's Scheme National Site Bronze Award for the demolition works at One Nine Elms carried out in 2014 and 2015. At the most recent CCS inspection in October 2016 McGee scored an excellent 42 out of 50.
